‘If I had a world of my own,
everything would be nonsense.
Nothing would be what it is,
because everything would be what it isn’t.
And, contrariwise, what it is, it wouldn’t be.
And what it wouldn’t be, it would.
You see?’‘Alice in Wonderland’ written by Lewis Carroll.
I was flicking through the Sunday Times magazine at the weekend and came across this magical bedroom from the new Moschino hotel, Maison Moschino maisonmoschino.com – wouldn’t it make a great kids bedroom?
I thought I’d pull a few pieces together, inspired by this gorgeous woodland bedroom.
First up – the much feted Woods’ wallpaper by Cole & Son. Photo via Good Design blog
I found two beds online (both are very expensive mind you – but you could possibly build your own if you were tempted!)
First up is the ‘Under the apple tree’ canopy bed from Etsy Seller Attilla Design
And the wonderful Forest Canopy Bed, from Anthropologie
Vintage ceramic Owl lamp from Etsy seller Bluebell Bazaar
Fierce Owl Lamp from Etsy seller Lantern Fly

I’ve always wanted to do a room with a tree bed. We sleep in a 4-poster canopy bed and as we’re on the Christmas House Tour this year, I’m thinking of lashing birch branches to it instead of wrapping garlands around the posts. Hmm. Guess I should do a practice run on that , huh?
these are awesome!
